Vent: Moniker

I just tried to buy some names from Moniker.
When I'd paid I bounced back to a page in Moniker that said:
< Error:Error validating xml data against the schema on line 17 the value is not a member of the enumeration.>

When I went to the status centre it said I hadn't bought anything.

Tried again. Nothing.

Went to the so-called 'support centre.'

Sent off a technical report - at least, I think I did, because I ended up on a page that was completely blank apart from this:

<00XXXXXXXXXF4!ARgAQAepXXXXXXXXXXXXXZ20.ySnkW2Vt9OjOrZ_6f6Un8p7ta9qlAqZWQ9qaGhQQCoSdTF2fTFV0HDRFl30fVkoztrueCase0033000000WgOVIAA30013000000O4jkgAABXXXXXX XXXXMonikerPortalTechnical fault with Moniker### Comment added by: XXXXXX SF contactID: 00XXXXXXXXX ### This is the error I get when trying to purchase domains I get sent to the Santdander page to make my secure payment, then get bounced back to the previous page where it asks me to select my method of payment. Clearly my order hasn't gone through (according to the status centre) and there's a high chance that I've now been billed twice. Please can you sort this out? Attribute name "validating" associated with an element type "r" must be followed by the ' = ' character.>

(Identifying characters removed)

So I was a bit nonplussed.

I wrote to my account exec, obviously he's busy, hope I've got the right email - he's not the problem, I'm sure he'll reply.

Then I restarted my computer, tried again. Repeated everything to the same effect - same error message, nothing showing up in the status centre. Did that a couple of times, trying different variations - register a few domains at a time, turn automatic renewal on. 'Paid' several times (crossed fingers I haven't actually paid.)

Went to the 'support centre', sent off same error report, got same blank page with gobbledygook.

Searched high and low on the internet for a telephone number to contact Moniker, only found this, which doesn't work:

Outside the U.S. and Canada: +1(954)984-0923

So here's my issues:

I remember when there was a help telephone number plastered across the top of Moniker.

Now we get sent to a big impersonal site (oversee.net) where it feels like they go out of their way to make genuine support difficult (a small button 'submit a question' that took me a minute to find). No telephone number anywhere. A 'support' blog that was last updated on the 28th January.

Everything looks flashy and they're going through the motions doing the 'right' things, but it feels like decay.

I've had technical errors before at Moniker. I understand it's a complicated site to run. But to get what appears to be technical errors at Moniker AND Oversee doesn't feel good. Not with the latest scandal swirling around.

Moniker has always had bugs, but before as you say they had a personal touch to catch them.

Oversee know about the bugs but do nothing to fix them, just spend on site appearance. It feels more secure at other registrars, frankly.

Ya earlier moniker use to feel safe. I remember due to a tech glitch moniker was showing some names as available and i went ahead and purchased it. But since the names were actually not available, my 900$ got transferred as moniker account credit.
I panicked a lot. But finally when i managed to make the international call, everything was sorted in 5 minutes. That was the time which made you feel good about their support. Now well, its a different story all together...
