I would never host with a registrar, GoDaddy, eNom or whoever. Never a good idea to place all your eggs in one basket.
I've had some problems with GoDaddy in the past but they fixed them all in good time.
And when some Usenet punk tried his very best to shut down my domain blog, the abuse department @ GoDaddy understood quickly what was going on, and did not shut down my blog.
But I must admit, that phone call is painful to listen to. Their attitude (GoDaddy) was inappropriate. When a customer has an emergency, of course he/she is going to be nervous, angry and frantic. The customer support people should know that a bad attitude during a support call can make a bad situation much, much worse.
