My initial thought on this domain is that it doenst fit the extension. When I consider it even more, I think its going to be very tough on the resale market. The reason is because you only register your vehicle with one place, and thats pretty much the DMV (atleast in the US). Considering the DMV uses .gov and most people are aware of that, there would be no reason for them to have this domain.

Also, consider commercial applications, does this have any? .orgs are tough enough to resell, but with limited market potential, Im just not seeing how this is going to go anywhere. I hope you can prove me wrong.

Why? Well, the only centralized type of registrations will be done by the governement. And the government will not be buying domains of Joe Domaindude.

They would instead use carregistrationsforthestateofcaliforniadotwastemoneytaxpayerexpensivelinemypockets.gov
