Hacking is a bad topic, adsense wants nothing to do with it for example. Whats the person buying this name going to do with it, sell books on how to hack into websites?

BUT if its a Anti hacking-web secureity site that may workout, but "HackerBooks" does not sugest anti hacking, but instead makes hacking sound cool by using "hacker".

To me its worthless base on the subject manner being so disliked

Thats not true

Hacking/Hacker is a commonly used term to describe forum mods, such as VB, phpBB for example phpBBhacks.com

people also enjoy hacking windows, such as overclocking, registry tricks and so on.

Its not a bad name at all, you just have to think about how you could use it, you can still use the term Hacker in a domain/website legally

Lets not take the bad part about hacking. Maybe hacking as in modding; its less common but should work out.
