So if a keyword research comes back with 1,500,000 exact searches a month with low competition, and a $0.40 CPC rate and over 9.5 Million broad searches, is it worth grabbing a matching domain for it?

Curious to hear what other people think!

Well it depends on how long the matching domain is. You wouldn't want it the length of this sentence..

2 words, first is 5 letters, and second is 6. Very VERY common term used. Did I mention "VERY COMMON"?

Are you going to grab the .com or some weird ccTLD or new gTLD? You can register keywords with high search volume in exotic extensions all day long - more often than not they're worth nothing.

Would you start a business on the name you're thinking of buying? If not, chances are no-one else would either..

the keyword/phrase is something that people search for. It's become a common in our terms surrounding the net - thus the 1.5 Million searches. But it's a great spot to put up referral links ;)

@anhnguyenict

https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner (This is the tool to lookup keywords). Sign up for account, that is if you don't already have one.

Watch this youtube video to give you an insight on how to work the tool.

.

Finding the keywords is all you. Good luck mate :)

Photoeditor.com sold for $5k 4 years ago
photoeditor.org sold for $310
photoeditor.net is parked
photoeditor.info is about to be dropped

seeing the above, I wouldn't buy the .io version tbh . Still, wish you luck in selling it.
