Additional information: Some time back i kept this domain on auction at ebay, bidding went till $9.50 but the highest bidder( FROM UK) got her account closed at ebay. So the auction never conclded. that was some time back, before i realised forums is the best place to sell the domains.

.uk transfers have to be transfered via Nominet (the .uk registry)
