I just saw on DNJournal that UV.TV sold for $13,000 -- quite a big increase from its selling price of $4,000+ on Sedo a couple of years ago!

Wow! Great! I sold Uv.tv the first time. I received payment in late May, 2007. So, it hasn't even been 2 years! Not a bad investment for whoever bought it from me. No complaints here, my wife and I were in Hawaii at the time, and running low on funds. The payment was direct deposit, so it made for a great ending to a week on The Big Island!
Congratulations to the new buyer!
I registered Uv.tv for $300, I think it listed for $1,000. It was during the big change in who was running .tv . My only regret is that I didn't have lots of money to register more LL.tv at a discount!

I see LL.tv as solid investments of renewals of $1,000 or less.

Great sale.

You can see why this German company wanted the name - and boy is their front film cool.

I think ALL two-letter .tv's are now worth holding onto for as long as you can.

In the current dot-TV sales environment the name was a steal at $13,000, IMHO.

In a domainers eye no its not cheap

In a developers eyes and end user yes they got the 2 letter name they wanted u v

I admit I have been shocked many times when I hear sales but this one I somewhat agree got sold cheaply when we found out who buyer is

The perks of 2 letter investments and .tv for there commercials. They would be paying xxx, xxx for uv.com

Happy for the seller, got in the hands of a end user and both parties happy.

The more I learn on 2 letter .tv investments the more I am beginning like them more. People have done really well on this area and john owned a ton of these early on.
While discovernow says 1,000 a year, I may have to disagree on say anything under 500 for myself personally. 1k here and there adds up very fast and carrying costs but to an end user its a drop in the bucket be at 500 or even 1000 a year.

I wish I had more and took a liking on these when I first came inn.
