well after my first attempt.... i sat back and thought i should try abit harder and try get something abit better... so anyway i came up with these 2 designs...

they use exactly the same layout so if it gets coded... i can just swap the images around and it would be sorted... with that in mind... i tryed to make them different as possible so the design change would be noticed.

Also the space at the top is for ads and so if the space just under the banner in the middle... i dont know if i will use them or not yet as i think it maybe abit much but we will see.

anyway please tell me what u think of each design.

Black and green

when the site gets up there will be a search included.

also if you could... could u please tell me if you think it is better than this or not.

I really like the both, Obviously the layout is th esame on both of them (not sure your affiliates will appreciate being so low on the page hehe)

The header on the blue and white one is really good, goes well with the overall design.

I know on this type of site youre going to have alot of content... but the navi bar on the left looks somewhat cramped, maybe space out the lines a *tiny* more?

But really not alot to suggest as personally I really like both the designs. Well done

Compared to your previous attempt it definately has made a great improvement . As for what I like best, it's a bit hard to say. You improved the blue one a lot from last time, but when seeing the dark one that just looks way better; there is one thing though...

It is extremely dark, so the detail you have added into it is extremely hard to see, like the altering colouring in the menu, the borders, etc. I think it would look better if you would apply a colour similar to the one blue to that dark layout, or at least something lighter.

As for the topspace for ads, I won't place a full horizontal banner there if I was you, but instead use an.... adblock I think it would be called in english if you'ld use adsense. It would be only 15 pixels high and place words rather than texts. This way it would be more user friendly since your page wouldn't be put down by some big block of ads and you would still have the benefit of having some additional ads.
