It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

I believe that while .com will retain its value as the prime internet real estate, the Beverly Hills of internet if you will, good names are getting scarce and expensive all across the board, and in a few years, there will be fierce competition for generic keywords in any extension - and dot US will surpass all but dot COM in value. After all, the US is the strongest economy in the world, and American companies will want to show off their nationality by getting a .us domain.

Also, the trend is that ccTLD's are gaining value fast, just look at .DE - it's second only to .com in value right now. These days, many are typing in their ccTLD instead of .com by default. In the scandinavian countries, the local ccTLD is clearly more popular than .com.

So: Patience - dot mobi is a hyped-up trend, dot US will have lasting value.

Had to narrow down the list...got a bunch, mostly LLL, L-L. Got em spread out like grass seed. These are at two registrars. My personal favorites?

Most are actually doing very well at Sedo.

Love the LLL and the L-L, the NNN and the N-N, got many dictionary, but words and phrases say it all.
