I am unimpressed by the .us market. For those that aren't, ebay is giving them away. Just go to the domains category and search ".us" in the completed auctions.

Mirrors.us 5.50
Linens.us 9.00
Paints.us 4.50
SoundSystems.us .99
Upholstery.us 2.25
etc.
Seems like all of these would have soared in .com!

This person could have gotten more on another selling platform. It is hard to sift through all the total garbage domains listed on ebay. Bido would have worked much better for some of these.
