Wouldn't it be nice if our fearless leaders would have the same guts as this leader!

America Needs A Leader Like This!

Prime Minister John Howard - Australia
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: ' IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'

' This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

' We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

' Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

' We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
' This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ' THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

' If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths!!!

Even though we are in the midst of a pre-election (big change) it is safe to say...
We will NEVER get to this point in our pussified Nation.
LOL

John Howard Rocks!!!
Cheers, Australia!!!
Red Rock!

I didn't read the whole of your post, just skimmed it but i get the idea about the Muslims adapting to the Australian culture and I've agreed with this so much and been called a racist so many times. I have no problems with anybody of any ethnicity living in Britain or skin colour, what irritates me so much is they believe they're above everybody else, they can be racist towards us, they can demand governments change the laws to suit them, but as soon as we express any dislike we're condemned for being racist.

I see this NOT about racism, but more as...
Just Friggen Adapt!
You come to our Country, GREAT.
Play by our rules!
Don't make us "spoon feed" you now!
learn the damn language!
Get a job!
This is SUCH COMMON SENSE!

Now wait...some of us enjoy the opportunity to practice our own special religions in America. A nightly visit to our temple to worship our gods such as Jack Daniels, Johnnie Walker and Bud Weiser. Would you deprive us of the ritual of the lap-dance? Already, our places of worship are being violated by a government intrusion to outlaw tobacco use in our ceremonies.
I demand we extend our Constitutional rights not curtail them. Our right to bare arms should include a right to bare breasts..... LOL

If only Howard had made a gesture toward the aborigenes, I might even try to forget for a second that he supported the war addictions of gwb :imho:

Hate to burst your bubble Red, but John Howard didn't write or say that.

It was an email that did the rounds. It was originally sent by a David Carroll, a former police officer and , at the time of this, a cityrail employee.

It was written in response to the Cronulla Beach riots a couple of years ago.

Groups of Lebanese males were hunting in packs on the beaches, picking fights, harassing and telling female beach goers wether they worth doing time for rape. Yes, they did this. I can't remember if there were any rapes, but there was a full blown case involving four Lebanese youth in the courts at the time.

Finally the Australian contigent of the area took matters into their own hands and started retaliating against these lebanese youth. It escalated into full blown rioting in the the streets and on the beaches.

For the record, I don't personally have a problem with anyones skin colour, religion, or ethnicity, and these youths gave people of the heritage a bad name.

The email was a call to arms that a lot of people see, and still do, as an affirmation of our heritage and our national identity.

David Carrol was sacked to my knowledge, and probably punished in some way by our overly politically correct government.

John Howard would never of had the balls to say something as nearly as inflamatory (in some peoples eyes) as this.

BTW...he is not our prime minister anymore. Not for at least 3 months.

Your welcome in Oz anytime Red.

LOL,
Well you gotta admit,
if it WERE true, It was a great story,
of a Politician who dared to be different!
Our Society over here is SO scared to speak up on "anything", because we dont want to hurt anyones feelings, LOL
Hence, Politically Correct!
I welcome "everyone" with open arms,
but those who look for government handouts, and expect us to hire translators in our classrooms, and change our English Signs, to include Spanish...
Oh, dont get me started!
LOL
Thx for clearing that story up!
This Crazy Internet B.S.!!!
Its kinda funny how the story changes!!!

Oh, and thx for the invite to Oz!
I would love to travel over there one day!
Is that the country where the women don't shave?
Might make a difference in my travel plans!
