Hi -

I have a .com name that gets in excess of 1500 hits a month and generates $160+ in parking revenue.

Since I have received an inquiry regarding this name, I will not share the specifics other than it is a topic that is searched a lot and most of the traffic is of the natural, type-in variety.

Estibot values it at about $500. I think it's worth a bit more.;)

So I'm curious how much you think its worth?

if it genuinely is type in i would say minimum 20 times your monthly revenue, thats with not taking into account it being a decent name

I agree with Irishmat. It sould be sold for at least 20 to 24 times of the monthly income.

How many months has it been generating that kind of revenue? If it was just a good month, maybe mid $xxx. If it has been doing that every month for half a year, maybe $3,XXX.

8 times the annual revenue for that amount is an average. Higher monthly revenue could go as high as 10 times in worth on an annul basis. Depends on the swing.... to sway 20% to 30% either way is based on the scale. You need a year of stats to really know what it is exactly worth to sell for at the best price. "I say", never sell. 20% of my names make 80% of my revenue virtually. The 80/20 rule. They are my bread and butter. Can you PM me the name? It is worth $16,360.00 if you can show a years ppcs at that monthly revenue amount at virtually any auction house to an investor. End buyer, the sky is the limit. Good luck.

Congrats on the interest in your domain name. I think a larger issue is if the domain is receiving some natural type in traffic in that industry, its going to be very valuable to an end user. So the question becomes one, who is the potential buyer? I think you need to focus on who that is, because consider what advertising costs this will save the potential advertiser, could be huge.

Also, consider the offer - is this coming because of type - in - or because a business is looking for web presnce?

My recomendation - research your buyer.
