URGENT: Simple Logo + Seal Design - 450 NP$

Hello NamePros Designers

I need a logo that is 165px x 75px, vector/nonvector (your choice) that reflects my site: Million Milestones.

I need this by May 1, 2006 at 11:00pm EST or earlier.

Basically my site will record milestones, which is an important event in your life. Feel free to design it however you like, but generally a milestone would revolve around time (just a suggestion).

A seal is something like the DNOA seal (http://dnoa.org/images/dnoa_whtgray150.jpg), needs to be vector OR .PSD (logo should be bigger so it can be shrunken through photoshop) and should have the same look as the logo. This would mean either incorporating any colors (if applicable), fonts, images, etc.

The seal should say on the outside circle: Million Milestones

The inside circle should say: New Milestone! Click to view

If you would like to suggest a redesign of my header to fit your logo, please do so. However, keep in mind that I do not intend to change any of the text on the header and wish to keep everything very small in filesize.

The prize/reward is 450 NP$. Please use your own images or images from stock photo sites. Upon payment, the logo, seal, and any other part of the deal will belong to me.

slaydragon: in the logo, try using the M for both Million and Milestones. Move the "illion" part up, then delete the "m" on "milestones". Plus, it's not just text placement I'm looking for. If you could make some design or some thing more than just a grey circle behind it, that would be very nice. For the seal, Saves th3 day looks the best. The seal you designed has potential but it looks very pixelated on the edges and very rough. Try using gradients more.

but the other logo ( the big circular one) on post #20, reminds me of some college logo in Singapore. haha

You need to edit the click to view thingy, the colour dun really fit and yes, try to centre it ???

slaydragon: This looks much better than before, however it still does not seem very professional. I would definitely remove that white arrow and use a consistent font. Slaydragon, I think you should focus more on the logo because it looks like it has potential. Save Th3 Day's seal is... undescribable so perhaps if you come up with a good logo I'll give you each the prize.

Remember everyone, a milestone is something very significant in your life and could be anything but is often priceless. A very big milestone was when the Apple iTunes store reached 1 billion downloads. Think big.

The logo needs to be like a corporate logo, something simple but at the same time unique and easily applied to layouts, seals, images, etc...

For instance Adobe's logo is a special A with adobe under it, Delta's is a blue/red triangle thing, etc.. (here's a good picture: http://www.parkerflags.com/corporate/img3.gif)

Also, if need be you can make the dimensions 165px x 100px because I know the previous dimensions I gave were very strange for a logo.

slaydragon: the logo still doesn't feel right. For one thing, the left side of the M is too long, and it doesn't seem to fit together. Font consistency means using the same font, decoration (bold, italics, etc), and color. Plus I'm looking for uniformity, meaning that the Million is relatively the same length as Milestones. As for the seal, it's getting better but again it still doesn't feel right. If you did what Saves th3 day did, and put Million on top and Milestones on the bottom, then maybe it would work better. Also the border is pixelated.

fried-chicken: I like your clock and the color but the two circle rings stand out wayy too much. Also, the font could be improved to something more sturdy and professional. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something similar to a corporate logo. For the logo, try putting the clock on the left and changing the font. My header will go on the right of the logo so if you have the clock just being cutoff like that it will look very strange in my header.

Keep the entries coming What I have not found to be suitable so far is a logo.

Saves th3 day, read through ALL the previous threads. I've made like 4-5 comments to you I really love your seal but the logo could use a bit of work. See what you can come up with

Saves th3 day: Ah. Well, it looks nice but somehow it doesn't seem like it would fit in my header. I'm looking for something to take up the ENTIRE 165px x 100px (or 75px). I really like the M M thing you made though, but is there a way to make the text more visible still? Also the random numbers in the background... seems a little random. :hehe:

Can you just fiddle around with text color, underlining, etc etc and see what you come up with? I like the concept but I think it's missing something... not sure what though.

Okay.

For your next entries, could you just make a whole lot of random modifications and just show everything you came up with? For example, one of them you might change the gradient color... (#d2d2d2 to #ffffff). For the next you might want to try and throw in a clock somehow... next one perhaps try and incorporate an hour+minute hand into the MM circle... or not. The one after that maybe try and even the text lengths up. Maybe add some color...

Maybe try changing fonts a bit too. I don't know You're the designer.

What about a sanserif font, such as Arial or Verdana? Also try removing the two black lines above/below the text. I don't really like the colored versions or the font. It seems a little hard to read... Right now the original with the gradient change looks good... the one with the text aligned looks okay too. Why not just fiddle around a bit more... try new concepts? Maybe there's another way you could do the MM thing.. maybe make a cartoon clock? I don't know.. there's one more day left so use your imagination.
