Update Ebay Ended PopeBenedictXVI.com Early

Hi Everyone.

Thank you for your interest in the eBay auction of PopeBenedictXVI.com

Unfortunately eBay was a little upset that I had put questions at the
bottom of the auction after I ran out of space in the formal section for
Q&A's. They also picked out one question that I responded to saying
that they could email me if they wanted to make a private offer, not
knowing that I am refusing private offers and was directing everyone to
the eBay auction

Anyway ... when the auction closed the last price that I was aware of
was 19,100, so I've started the relisted auction at that price.

Here are some are some little stats. The counter at the bottom of the
page broke 50k I believe, there were over 800 people watching the
auction, somewhere in the area of 105 bids, and somewhere in the area
of 160 questions answered . . . Thanks eBay!

Anyway, I'm not bitter, that's life.

I've relisted the auction on ebay and there is a pool going in some
circles I'm part of on how long it will last

I just checked the new auction and someone offered the buy now price of $150,000. The buyer doesn't have a rating so I don't know how legit the sale is. I guess time will tell.

Follow any changes in the whois info, of course.

These days, ebay will hand you a check for $25.00 and say thanks..After fees, taxes, server use, "use of bold fonts", "fact-that-you're-a-loser fee" and all the other fees you have to pay to use ebay.
Yeah..I would say the take-home was about $25.00 :hehe:

Agree with you filtered. I use to sell bunch of products on ebay before now its not worth it. Also don't forget paypal fee (btw ebay owns paypal also, i don't understand why they like to screw us twice).

I would use the domain to promote myself as the next pope..I would explain all of my good deed......err..deeds..and..um..and I would explain that I could do a gooder job then the starwars guy..

Not to get OT, but that's why I'm hoping this new Greenzap payment processor is the "real deal".. they're proposing flat rate fees!

This is why Ebay sucks there needs to be a new auction site just for domains with alot of viewers and members to stop this from happening.
