Since I returned to Namepros after a 2 year absence, I have been getting anywhere from 10 to 25 emails a day from individuals and companies offering to build my websites. Its got even worse as they are now ringing me up at home, at all manner of times and after being told a firm NO, they still keep calling. Im assuming some of these cretins are lurking on these forums, why can't they just take no for an answer!

Anyone else getting the same treatment?

FTR they even email with my most recent reg's as a subject, normally the next day, and as I only ever post here I can safely assume it is people from here doing this.

I received 2 email's from them.. which I replied "No thanks, if you want to buy give me an offer".

I thought that they had found my email under whois.. 2 email's in 3 domains portfolio is almost 100% accuracy :ROFL:

Welcome back! :bag::xf.wink:

Modify your domains' WHOIS contact details accordingly, directing such unwelcome attention elsewhere.

Personally, I'm not a fan, but many people find WHOIS Privacy very helpful with this.

You might be on to something with the whois change, may send them to a redundant email address instead

One must be very careful with an email address, but sometimes users tend to use their email address in many other websites that require submitting an email address for registration. Spammers are on the hunt and then send unsolicited email.

That's why I have another email address for that kind of things. :xf.grin:

Be careful to ensure that you continue to receive legitimate notification emails from your registrar.
