A case has been recorded on the Solana blockchain that looks like something "impossible, but it happened."
A bot turned 0.227 USDC into ~$696,000 with ONE transaction.
How did it happen?
— A large holder (whale) crashed the ANB coin by selling 4 billion tokens (~$80,000)
— This created a severe price imbalance between liquidity pools on Meteora
— One pool dropped sharply, while the other didn't have time to correct.
Bot instantly caught arbitrage:
Bought ~72,793 ANX
Exchanged them for over 50 million ANB at a discounted price
Sold ANB and received 885,290 USDC (before fees)
Result: Huge profits in seconds thanks to market inefficiencies.
Conclusion:
The DeFi market is still full of imbalances, but only the fastest ones—bots and algorithms—can profit from them.
