Hi, I hope I can ask this in a way that is understandable.

Lets say I have following websites (the domain name is made up, I dont even know if it exists, just an example).
- somethingsomething.com/amazon
- somethingsomething.com/epn

Is it possible to do following?:
- when a visitor from USA type in somethingsomething.com he/she will be redirected to somethingsomething.com/amazon

AND

- when visitors from EU type in somethingsomething.com they will be redirected to somethingsomething.com/epn

The next question is, how can this be done by one who can't programme diddley. :)

My thoughts are that there must be a difference in visitors from USA/EU and which sites they order online from.

I have not done any investigation, but I would think that visitors from EU prefer Ebay over Amazon, while visitors from USA prefer Amazon over Ebay.

I know that Ebay and Amazon is not exactly comparable and has the same targetgroup, but I still think that a website targeting EU would do better with Ebay Partner Network, while a website targeting USA would do better with Amazon Affliate.

What do you think?

You would need to get a database of IP's and check the visitors Ip against the database to see what country they are in.

There isn't anything difficult in this however if you have no programming background it may prove difficult without help.

Could this database be internal or external at another website?

ideally hosted by you otherwise requests would be delayed

Thanks, now I only need to make myself a website and a guy who can do the ip thing for cheap. :)

Thanks for your help Peter.

Do you know if there has been any analyse about what gets more revenue affliate:
- EU/EPN vs USA/EPN
- EU/Amazon Affliate vs USA/Amazon Affliate

Or do you have any idea where I can find out the information?

you may never say,,,,it doesn't really depend on where are you from,
I know many US's that prefer Ebay
