I registered Twittery.com in 2004 and have it parked at bodis, now with the success of Twitter, I'm concerned there maybe a IP issue. In my favor, I owed the domain years before Twitter was launched and Twittery is a generic word.

I'd recommend using keywords for parking that are completely unrelated to Twitter's services. This doesn't necessarily mean they won't still come after you. However, if you can prove that you registered the domain before they existed and are not currently using it to infringe their mark, then you should be fine, relatively speaking.

Your purpose for originally registering the domain was what?

They beat you to register, but "twittery" doesn't look like a prime target for them anyway. You're at the tail-end of twitter's popularity, probably, and sites like "twitters.com" would be my first stop, rather than yours.

Doesn't mean you are free and clear, just that the name may not be worth the effort to them.

That didn't stop MySpace from eventually getting the .uk version.
