I read an article about a lot of people canceling cable subscriptions with the economy doing as poorly as it is, what do you think of TvAlternatives.com?

I wouldnt have thought of any value to this domain...
until your explanation!
Sounds like a Killer niche.
The domain on it's own, I'd prob only pay reg-fee.
That doman with a site...I'd be tempted to pay alot more.
If you are a developer, I believe you could create a real gem of a site with your domain!
Best of luck to you!

This domain may have some future applications. For now, the name is probably reg fee, but that doesn't mean you should get rid of it (unless an enduser comes along and offers you big money).

My son gave up his cable and now gets all his programming through his computer (hooked up to a big screen TV).

He can get just about everything I can with cable and doesn't pay a penny for tv.

I think he uses Joost, but don't quote me on that.

I have a lot of domains undeveloped, but I've never been a fan of leaving them that way. It saddens me to have it that way. :(
...but this one I do intend to develop very quickly.

Do you have any suggestions for development? You may have ideas I haven't thought of yet. ;)

Thank you for your comment. Rep coming.

Thank you for that. I haven't heard of Joost, I'll look into that one. ;)

Ms. Domainers comment is proof that this is happening!

Me and my family are living proof of it also.
I cancelled my cable for a few months...
(until football season started) lol
We rented alot of dvd's, spent more time on the computer,
listened to music, etc.
It didn't seem that it was missed at all.
I actually saw my daughter reading a book...lol

I love the idea of that site.
We can all trim the budget a bit.
and with technology becoming more and more critical,
all that does is create more monthly bills for us all...
Cable, internet, Tivo, Cell phones, texting, wireless internet, XM radio, GPS, etc. etc. etc.
The list goes on...
I cant wait to see that site up and running.
Anything we can do to cut down on one more bill...
I am ALL FOR!
