Just got this for reg fee,

一.tv
Means "one" in Kanji with over 3.8 Billion google results.

I know that .tv isn't as strong as .com but I did hear that .tv is still picking up traffic in asia.

I would be very grateful for any appraisal/opinions on this domain

Idn.tv: as you can see a great number if primary terms are still available in .tv

There are many reasons for this:

1) cost of regging is around 30 bucks year
2) .tv doesn't get much type in, even for a strong IDN
3) .biz and .info ect were available and much cheaper to reg once the primary terms were gone

On a positive note: the term tv is known around the world in any language!
End Users seem to like it.
Auctioneers seem to like selling them...hehe

I've stuck with mostly .com and .net for Idns...but I do have a couple really good IDN.tv names

Thanks for your input Phio,

It is quite amazing just how many IDN .tv premiums are still available for reg. I have lost a little faith in .tv over the past year yet some of the IDN's seem to work with the extension. I figured it was worth a speculative punt for 30 bucks and who knows, maybe some time in the next couple of years sales will start increasing.....fingers crossed!
