So we all know that some .tv names are premium and command a 4500 or more a year renewal fee. I have seen some people state here that they have recently regged names that were premium, but that had been dropped down to regular pricing by .tv corp?

If that can happen is it at all possible for them to do the reverse?

I would hate to go to renew a $35 name and be asked for $500

Some members may have luck to catch drops which have not been promptly updated by .TV Corp into premiums, some find dropped names which have been kept then sold and for which, years ago, .TV Corp agreed to lower the fee in order to ease the transaction, some may also find names names which were registered at standard fee because the buyer registered them for years upfront, remember that in the past names were also available for reg at $125, 200 and 300... One could also say that some members also reg at standard fee names that they consider themselves, right or wrong, as 'premiums'. In the coming months (April, May) more names registered in 2000's will be dropped (from big portfolios) be ready to intercept them ! Last : you will never be requested to renew at premium fee names you got initially at regular pricing.

I have several .tv's all purchased for reg fee.

Could I be asked for a lot of money to renew these at the end of the year?

no, only what you initially registered them for

They can not and will not do this for legal reasons. It is is the registration agreement.
