.tv .TV and 60 Day Waiting Period

I purchased a name from someone here at NP and the name was pushed to me at DomainMonster. I am now trying to transfer it to GoDaddy but I am being told the .TV registry requires a 60 day waiting period.

Does anyone know if that is in fact the case? I have not heard of the 60 day waiting periods with .TV's.

"Customers must wait 60 days to transfer domain names after a purchase, a prior transfer, or certain changes to domain name registrant information".

ya, kind of a pain, but that's the process unfortunately.

for all extensions this applies to new reg or transfers of new regs ( i am assuming they recently regged it)

When registering a name, "Registry Lock" applies for 60 days. Can change registrant but not registrar
