Trustful registrar with API?

I'm looking for a trustful registrar with an API, hopefully similar to Dynadot's (http://www.dynadot.com/domain/api.html), the problem @ Dynadot is that you need to spend at least 500$ (I'm not even close to 500) with them to use their API. I want to create a desktop application that will track all domains and auto renew them (if near expiration) and also auto register other domains when deleted (program will scan for domains - example 4 letter com's and if you find a domain you like and is near deleteion, you will put a "Auto register" option on it and if the domain expires and is deleted the program will auto register it for you right after deletion). It will save hours of time for people which have over 500 domains. The program will probably be free of charge or payable (small monthly fee) and for NP only. The thing with Dynadot is that you can transfer money to your account so you can instantly buy a domain using the money on your account, that would work great with the program. Also the program will include statistics (easy to track everything), like money spent, domains registered etc. Also a good tool would be auto mailer and auto portfolio generator, etc. All I need is an API similar to Dynadot... :tu:

So I'm looking for a dynadot like API with an option to transfer money to your account.

Thanks for help

Feel free to look at a script that I wrote for catching drops. It fakes logging in to Dynadot, adding a domain to your cart, and checking out. It acts like their API, only you don't have to spend $500 to use it. The only catch is you need to already have account credits. Take a look:

http://dnmedia.com/drop_catch.php

Just about every registrar with an API requires you to spend $500+ each year.

Thank you very much, that was my reserve plan if I wouldn't find what I was looking for. Since you said that every registrar requires you to spend at least 500$, I will probably use this code, if I am allowed to? I will credit you in the credits. Script works great, just tested everything except the check_out function. I am also wondering, is this legal?

Also rep given, thanks again :kickass:

The only thing you can't do with the script is to automatically register and delete domains over and over again (kiting), but now that there is a $.20 fee that is kind of a moot point.

You're free to run the script for personal use, but if you want to use it for commercial purposes, you need to contact me so we can discuss it.

I think Dynadot's API is the best & $500's not bad for what you get back from the bulk account deal pricing.

Here's other registrars that also offer a domain registration API:

Moniker - Free API access
Enom - $100 prepaid / reseller account
Onlinenic - $89 or so minimum

ResellerClub's API is completely free of cost & the best part is that you can sign-up for a demo account to test out their API environment as well...the downloadable kits being in 4 diff languages: PHP, PERL, JAVA & .NET...sign-up for a demo account from here

http://partnersite.onlyfordemo.net

Plus, they have dedicated API Managers in place to assist you, based on the geographic region you fall in...

Oh yeah, I forgot about ResellerClub (Directi's) API. It is very fast, but too bad you cannot use it for drop catching :(

There's also Wild West Domains Resellers - A GoDaddy API.

Thank you very much guys, gave rep to all :) I will test these out and yes Expron I agree that Dynadot's API is the best, I might use it in future, just can't spend that much money atm. Also still looking for any other API's.
