I've got a couple of highly brandable .io domains in my portfolio and am looking for realistic price estimates from investors experienced in this TLD. I need to liquidate some assets quickly due to an unexpected cash crunch, so I'm looking for the honest, aggressive price range that would move these in under 30 days.

The Domains:

  1. Tribune.io
    • Value Proposition: A strong, established dictionary word with global recognition, perfect for a media platform, news aggregator, or professional SaaS. The name carries immediate authority and trust.
    • Key Question: What is the realistic BIN (Buy It Now) price range for a fast liquidation sale on a marketplace like Sedo, considering the high value of single-word brandables?
  2. Damn.io
    • Value Proposition: An incredibly short (4-letter), high-impact, emotive dictionary word. This is a premium asset for an edgy, consumer-facing tech startup that wants instant brand recognition (e.g., "Damn, that works" "DAMN Media").
    • Key Question: What price bracket should this fall into for an urgent wholesale or fast retail sale, given the strong sales history of short, emotive .io names?

Honest question.. what’s the point of this comment I noticed you post the same thing repeatedly in tons of threads?

He's saying that your domains don't hold any value on the reseller market. Many people post domains that are worthless, which explains why he posts the same thing across many threads.

I do not generally deal in .io domains, so I am not the right person to appraise these for you. In some extensions these words would be worth money, but in other extensions they are completely worthless.

Nice names but not obvious SLD-TLD fit for either. I like Tribune for a TechCrunch-type publication, but that's super niche.

With a 30 day timeline, I'd list on Sedo, Godaddy, DNX.com at $3999 each, and drop $1k every 7 days. Maybe do some outbound first, see if anyone bites, but investors aren't so hot about .io anymore, so it would have to be pretty targeted enduser outbounding.

Namebio shows 96 sales for domains with tribune in them, highest is tribune.ie sold in September for 10,570 on sedo

Tribune is taken in about 115 extensions

To sell anything quick YOU must decide what amount you want, lowest amount you will take and try to sell. If you had time this is a domain you list a wait a few years and probably you can get 5k+
