I said I was starting this thread in October but a few things going on and I thought I could give at least the first hint-trend today and what is about?

Yes this first one could not be anything else than the LLLL.com since we are really in a hot final rush.

Well, here you go:

with the help of DYYO.com many of you have noticed that the first letters to run out were the first ones in alphabetical order .....but WHAT ABOUT THE LAST LETTERS ????

Did anyone notice that even for the last letter the A is still the Queen?

Here you go, I took just now 2 of the remaining 27 LLLA.com so there are only 25 left for you.

And also, from this Trend , we can say that the less desiderable letters for the 4th letters of the LLLL.com are Q and V , while X and Z are well in the average. Very interesting info to evaluate even more deeply the LLLL.com I think.

I always appreciated O at the end, because it can be used as online. My only LLLL end user sale was of a domain ending in O. I sold it to a small business who had an LLL acronym. I said they can market it as LLLOnline.

I saw the end user potential in those ending in O and i am surprised there are still 353 available domains.

A too can stand for association at the end. So it is another good one.

yes, I like O too for the same reasons, both at the start or at the end. Also L at the end can be "Limited"

Today , I`d like to analyse something happening in the .info extension.


We know how much LLL.info are worth as minimun don`t we? If you don`t , let`s have a look again at http://3character.com/priceguide.html

It says: 3-Letter .info - $135 (Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of October 1, 2007


We also now that .info has been for long time heavily undervalued and only in the last year it`s gaining some respect and decent sales. For more info, you can always look at DNJournal.com and NameBio.com

Lately , the LLLL.com market started to rock and the cherry of it were the CVCV.com

What`s happening now? Well....it appears that people have been too busy looking at the .net and they totally forgot the .info

I have been following this trend , day by day in the last 2 months and believe it or not , nearly ALL of the Premium CVCV.info are gone! No need to be surprised , they are good , memorable , short , premium names and much cheaper than any other extension. You can reg them at GoDaddy with the coupon code "99info" and you get a .info for just above $1 , or you use the coupon "bargaincat.com" at Domain.com and it gets few more cents cheaper.

I have got a few and with my strong surprise I have been receiving nice traffic on some of them immediately after I parked them at SEDO. And the nicest surprice was to get 2 sales , one for $150 and one for $100 for 2 of them to 2 end users who approached me about 1 month ago.

I think that any portfolio should include few of them as they may be really good investments, much better than regging 3 chars.info....would you rather have z5g.info or fesa.info ???

If you look at the most common uses of LLLL acronyms by organizations, the most popular ending letters in Theory should be:

A = Association, Associates
C = Company, Corporation, Club, Committee, Cooperative
I = Inc., Industries
F = Foundation, Fund (probably most popular in .org)
G = GmbH (German Equivalent of US LLC), Group; GP= General Partnership
L = Limited, LLC, Limited partnership (I wonder in any ending in ??LP ?LLC are avail.)
M = Manufacturing
O = Organization, Offices
P = PLC (UK for Public Limited Company), Partnership, Proprietor
S = Services, Supply; SC = Supply Company or Services Corp

This correlates pretty well with the numbers given in the first post as the least available. However, even with a great suffix, those containing one or more Z, Q, K, J, and V might be a slow mover.

Just a little note before to go to the subject of this update: in the past 2 times , I have experienced many silent takers and just 4 givers. I see from the whois names that can`t be bothered not even to say "hey thanks I regged this one..." so if this is the way it continues , I won`t last long.

Let`s go back to LLLL.com since it`s too hot to avoid right now with just about 8600 combos left. That`s less than 2 %.

It is so hard to find decent combos these days that as soon as they drop , they go within few minutes , including the one with only 1 bad letter.
