Whats the difference between the three?

I registered some domains a few days ago with godaddy, and i've been told that i can't transfer-out those domain to a buyer till after 60 days of registration ; or i could do it now by "kicking" or\and "pushing" the domain.

Whats kicking and pushing domains? and how can you do it with GoDaddy?

any help is appreciated :)

"Pushing" is simply moving the domain to another Account within the Registrars system (usually free within the major companies).
"Transferring" is completely moving the domain to another registrar (Usually charged +/- the same as a registration fee).

To push a domain in GoDaddy:

Step 1:
Log in to the GoDaddy.com Account Manager.

Step 2:
Select Manage Domains from the Domain Names dropdown menu or from the Manage Your Account list.

Step 3:
Select the domain name you wish to modify by checking the box next to it, then click the Change Account button.

Step 4:
Next, enter the new registrant's information under the Registrant heading on the right side of your page and click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

I'm assuming the "Kicking" term to be "Pushing" - Never really used the term as such though ....

:bingo: It is the most widely used procedure to exchange Domains ~ Most folks buying/selling/trading domains do not "Transfer" unless they plan to keep it long term -OR- if they just prefer everything under one roof. Keeps the fees/costs down to a min ...

Kicking would be what you want to do to yourself after you let a valuable domain expire. :p

Seriously, there's no such thing as kicking in the context of domain transfers.

Or searching for a domain name, seeing it's available, and not getting it on the
spot. Then when you're ready to get it, it's already taken. :]

Where'd you get that term, MD?

btw ... if i can't transfer-out a domain to a buyer , because i bought it recently , i'd have to ask him to make a godaddy account (my registrar) so i can "push" it to him , right?

Right. Although, many people already have a Godaddy account.
