Transfer From Enom

I am transferring all of my names from enom, but have a question. I am currently moving one name that is set to expire today. I initiated the transfer on 10/24/08, and forgot to account for the five day wait. My other transfers only took 3-4 days, so I was hoping that this would also be the case, however my luck wasn't that good, as I'm still waiting. Should I renew at enom for an additional year, just to be safe, or am I ok since I initiated the transfer four days before expiration?

Anyone have an answer?

My name was successfully transferred to GD. So now we know that if a transfer is initiated before expiration, it will most likely go through.
