Domain Transfer

Hi,

I have a domain in Enom account which expire in 6th Oct 2003. I initiated a transfer to another registrar on 9th Oct 2003.

I receive email to authorise the transfer from the gaining registrar. The status now is waiting for losing registrar to authorise. But will the transfer be successful?

I do not have enough money in Enom Reseller account to renew that domain and i dont want to refill that account so i initiate a transfer.

Can anyone advise me?

If transfer was initiated after domain expiration it will be unsuccesfull. Losing registrar will deny your request.

You should renew domain at eNom (if possible), wait 60 days after that, and then start transfer again.

Why don't they let you transfer expired domains? Because you dont actually own them anymore, or do they just want the renewal to be through them?
