Transfers Fees.......................
Now they are free to push/pull through alot of registrars, correct?
For example, 1 and 1 would be free to transfer to another 1 and 1 customer I think.

Sedo........they charge minimum $50 bucks for each transfer if you sell thru them?

What about Go Daddy?

Thanks so much for anyone who responds, have a wonderful day.

Yes, at most registrars a "push" (or "pull") to another customer at the same registrar is free. Transfer cost from one registrar to another can vary. I believe a transfer to godaddy is $6.95 per domain. Transfers will add another year onto the expiration.

Thank you SecondVersion.

When any transfer is done, another year is added to the expiration date?

Another Sedo question I had was if it is mentioned in the listing that the buyer pays transfer fees from Sedo sale,
is that "legally binding".......or at least, does sedo make sure to charge the buyer and not the seller?

Thanks

Correct, but in the case of Sedo, I'm not sure.

I do not have much experience selling at Sedo, so can't really help you on that one, sorry.

At Sedo you have the option of doing a push at the current registrar, or transferring the domain to another registrar at the buyer's expense.

Thanks Asian...

Where and when do they give you that option?

I'm waiting for payment from a sedo auction, but do not remember seeing anything giving me options, or mentioning any fees I was getting charged for transfer. was it at the beginning?

Thanks so much!

Here are the steps for the transaction:

1) Buyer pays Sedo.
2) You unlock the domain and the buyer transfers to another registrar OR you push the domain to their account at the current registrar (buyer's option)
3) Once buyer has confirmed control of the domain, Sedo will send you the payment minus their commission which is 10% with a minimum of $50 or if the domain is parked with them, just a flat 10%.

The seller does not pay any transfer fee's with sedo. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay any transfer fee's. They do have the option of a free push if they have/ open an account with the same registrar that the domain is at. As a seller you pay Sedo for their service. This is taken out of the final selling price. It is 10% of the selling price if you had the domain parked with Sedo or a minimum of $50 if not.
