Traffic on parked domains

Hey everyone, just a bit confused on this.

Do people make money just by parking their domain on parkingcrew.com? How does the site generate traffic? Does parkingcrew.com do SEO or any analytics to get it on googles search page?

Also, the parked site just has a sign that says its for sale, how does this generate traffic?

I'm just confused as to how a parked site, that has a sign saying the domain is for sale, generates traffic and you can make money from that traffic

It doesn't generate traffic at all, on the contrary it 'squeezes' any remaining traffic from the domain until the traffic dries out (unless it is a typo but that's another story).

There is no seo or anything related to 'improving' the domain, it will most probably disappear from google since: a. parked pages are not 'secure' (http) b. a parked domain slowly gets de-indexed.

You earn money by parking domains that already have traffic and pray for the best

They don't generate any traffic...
They monetize the existent traffic.

Ah so the parked domains, these are domains that already have an active website where users are actively visiting the site right? And by parking it, you are just letting the website do it's thing by generating traffic?

Any domain can be parked.
But traffic is coming only on those domains where WAS website in the past...
+ mistyped... and type-in traffic.
