Traffic - No Clicks!

Hi,

Today, I've had a total of 794 impressions on my site, with a total of 1 click, earning me $0.65. Why could I be getting a terrible amount of clicks?

My sites are http://www.dir4you.net , http://www.generaldir.net , http://www.biddir.net , http://www.jakeruston.com

Any tips on ad placement, colours or anything like that?

All I see is directories and the last one is a blog... maybe more content sites... are you updating your blog daily? Don't get let down i fyou got only one click. One click is better than nothing. Where is your traffic coming from... is it search engine traffic... how long are your members staying on your site... Keep your hard work up and it will pay off at the end and be honest with your site. Best of luck

794 impressions means very little... you want to base your traffic on unique visitors. Some bots are known to leave hundreds of impressions by themselves.

I am having this same thing, although most traffic from direct addresses and google search. However I had one click so far from about 500 impressions.

The only thing to note ~ 500 impressions is nothing I think. I am getting between 15 to 30 uniques per day, and for clicks to increase I believe our sites need like 100 uniques+

Just what I have noticed.. but its still ok. I run a blog also, just keep updating it with new content.

My main directory is getting 70 - 75 uniques daily.

EDIT: Checked Analytics and these are yesterdays results:

Dir4You = 139 Uniques
GeneralDir = 33 Uniques
Biddir = 10 Uniques
Jakeruston = 2 Uniques

In total, not bad traffic, but no clicks

that's litle trafic, you should try to improve your traffic before jumping in any conclusions.

Yes I agree. WHen you are getting around 3-5k uniques a day and getting 0 clicks then you might have something to think about.

794 impressions and 1 click ? I can't imagine how law the CTR is. But again all your sites are directories. Buts normally forums , directories have very low CTR. What are your traffic sources ? if you get traffic from Google and other search engining then you can try changing your ad position and check. try a Skyscraper Ad under your Sponsors section.

yes... i agree.
one click is better than nothing. i've got my 1st click last week.
it's give me more inspiration..
and now.. i keep to improve my site every day.

hope that i can get some bucks from adsense soon
