Trademarks issued by States

How do Trademarks issued by individual States in the United States, and not registered with the U.S. government, play into the domain name business.

TM infringement still applies, albeit it might be more challenging.

Thanks. I thought that was the answer, but I never read of anyone bringing it up here. I own a few State issued Trademarks and I keep a lookout for any infringements.

In regards to domains, the test is "rights or greater rights" to a name. Yes, there is a geographical or regional limitation in a normal TM case, but htese are domains which is a different creature.
