All Good things must come to an end.. previously, rather than pay $20 for a 60 minute TracFone airtime card, it was cheaper to buy a $20 TracFone cell phone, give it to someone, and refer a friend for 120 free TracFone airtime minutes. No more..

Yeah, I was about to refill my minutes by buying a phone as a gift and referring the recipient for the 120 mins.. now, if they don't keep some form of the present referral program, I'm not sure I'd bother with TracFone in preference to another prepaid company.
