Hmm, This is a small thing that sort of irks me. THe topic titles dont seem to change when you edit them, either in quick edit, or the normal edit. The post shows the changed title, but when you look at it in the topic list it appears like the original.

Not sure if this is some caching issue, but if it is possible to allow topic title edits, that would be great.

I've found that when users do title edits, it doesn't show up in the forum display, but when admins/mods do title edits for the users, or for themselves, they do change in the forum diplay...:notme:

It does matter. I've made mistakes in a title before and then wasn't able to fix it. One thing I will throw a "kudo" towards -RJ- for is the fact that he even allows us to edit threads. Some forums do not!

Righto ... this is an Admin/Mod - only feature (while one can still "edit" the contents of the actual post, just not the actual thread Title). I believe it's best to maintain it as this ... to avoid possible confusions, for consistency purposes, etc.
However, any of us at Staff™ can modify Titles, correct mistakes or spelling errors whathaveyou upon request and review ... and all of us have done so when the situation warrants. Simply post in the friendly "Private-to-Staff" area with the specifics. :talk:

Thanks.

Okay.

What Wave says is very true. Staff have edited my title requests on several occasions...and in a speedy manner, I might add.
