Top Domain Sales Of 2008 Not Developed

I was doing some research on the top domain name sales of 2008 and found something very interesting. Forty percent of the top domains sold are not developed.

Excellent reporting ... I would like to hear the specific reasonings (for acquisition/sale) directly from both the buyer's and seller's, as well as insight and persective from Ron and the DNJ, as well. :gl:
The following information was compiled using sales reported on DNJournal.

Were most of these reported private sales, or sales on Sedo?
How many, and which ones, were purchased by corporate End users ... and which were resales amongst domainers? :blink:

I like that domain a lot I don't understand the 2 pictures on the domain at all..nor the re direct to e8.com...

It will be for some contest I believe. The guy who purchased has a fascination with numbers or something, lol. Honestly though I don't know all the details.
