i dont create threads at all these days

But i thought I'd create this thread

most domain investors will lose every penny they invest in domain names and will either invest even more money in renewing the domain names they first bought or let them expire before renewal thus leaving them with a portfolio that is not liquid

Other domain name investors however get lucky

Some very lucky

These domain name investors buy a few quality domain names for handreg reg fee
And you'll see in the completed sales thread that they bought for reg fee and it sold eg on bb or elsewhere or at auction for 2-3k etc

And when they mention the sale with details etc

Eg the post may say

Date bought

Reg fee

Sold price

Venue etc etc

And then you see a lot of posts that ask for what price did you buy the domain and how long did you own the domain name etc

It doesn't take a genius to do a simple sum

Domain name sold price - auction or market place fees which will give you a figure - exact reg fee = the amount of profit made etc or liable for etc

Remember not everyone on here is who they say they are on here

Why would a person knowing what you sold the domain name for and the market place commision you paid and the date want to know exactly how much you paid for the domain name for ?

Makes you think

Plus with domain name investors who buy a domain for say 10 usd etc sell it for 2k and then buy 2k of crypto for less than
1 usd each and then crypto do extremely well etc

People will want to know how you were able to buy the crypto etc

Just saying

We live in an era where people who couldn't get finance on 10 usd are starting to do extremely well all of a sudden lol
