TM Domain question

Would it be a trademark infringment if I have a domain that is similar to a trademark, but it has been developed into a site that has nothing to do with the trademark? Sort of like adsense.com?

Adsense.com was registered way before google came out with their adsense program so if anyone should sue it would be the original owners of adsense.com (they sold their domain recenlty, hope they got good money for it)

I could be very wrong here but from what I've read, if you have a website that is obviously getting its traffic from someone elses work then you are in trouble, unless... your domain name makes sense on its own and you are doing something totally diferent.

Anyway, thats my two cents
