i saw on dnpric.es sales for .tk domain . i thought .tk was a free domain . i know it's the cctld of tokelau & i know that freenom gives it away along with some african domains . i was under the impression that the .tk domain couldnt be sold

But was never able to get hold of it
As the registrar never pushed it
Into my account

They ignored my request completely
Though I Called them twice

They are only free if you are 'borrowing' them. You can't sell or transfer them unless you pay the (still low) yearly cost. I had some for a while before I started domaining that were hacks that I liked. For example, MyYo.ga, DenverYo.ga, etc.

Enforcement went in waves, but you were required to at least forward them otherwise they took the free ones away.
