Why would "German names" be hot (versus any other country) in the ccTLD ".TV"?
Was this your "sale", b2b? :gl:
Regards,
Jeff![]()
Talking about domains, German names are hot, because there are more high sales with .tv in German, thank in other European languages.
"the big losers were the Geo’s, with Japan.TV and Germany.TV selling for just around 10k each."
Thus German names seem luke warm, if not COLD ... comparatively speaking! :red: :imho:
Which "sales"?
According to TheDomains.com, in the recent Sedo .TV auction (many "buyers" as yet unconfirmed over $5,000) "the big losers were the Geo’s, with Japan.TV and Germany.TV selling for just around 10k each."

I really fail to see your logic, convoluted or otherwise, into how you make the quantum leap just from the price of Germany.tv in comparison or relation to other German names in the .tv extension.
The cold hard fact of the matter is that there is an abundance of endusers that are utilizing the .tv extension in Germany as well as the rest of the European continent and it is growing in useage on a daily ever increasing basis. It hasn't stopped and won't stop.
If you are able to explain why a lower price is bad at this point in time for endusers to benefit from you are beginning to lose me as it was my understanding that you wanted endusers in the game to have the extension benefit from the exposure.
In this regard, which is it? Price or enduser development that you see the need for?
The way I see it, I'm happy and encouraged to see affordable prices for German and other names at this stage, many of which will trickle down to endusers. Not all of them, but a good number will, as we are witnessing.
.tv - I Like It!
Outside the english/spanish language it looks like the german language is the next best thing and picking up fast. I need to find a "german mistress" to help me out with translation
Thanks, Jim

you dont sprechen sie deutsch do ya, jeffy. for future reference "Germany" isnt a german word.
and say, when are you going to lose those idiot emoticons. told ya bout that shiz.
Moebel.tv - 4000 EUR
Telefon.tv - 9500 EUR
Zeichentrick.tv - 5000 EUR
Astrologie.tv - 1200 EUR
These names I remember. There was also one interesting sale:
Garden furniture in German. And it was IDN. And it was .tv - something around 1900 EUR.
I don't think there were better sales in other European languages.
Maybe I'm wrong.
And, yes, Germany is not a German word, and Japan is not Japanese![]()
Best wishes
