ThomYorke.us - Lead singer of Radiohead, quite possibly one of the most talented musicians out there.
OVT - 37,912

AlfredHitchcock.us - One of the greatest directors. Ever.

It's always risky when purchasing other people's famous names. Good luck with what you do, but as a rule I tend to stay away from these types of domains. Simply not worth the potential hassles.

I've never heard of the first one...

I do like the Alfred Hitchcock one... and also would have purchased it had I seen it available...

but I've seen some decent name sales at DnSalePrice and just bought them for the heck of it
if I ever do get a C&D letter, I dont mind surrendering my names

IMO you won't have problems with AlfredHitchcock.us as he is dead.
And it is developable even though my choice would be .org then maybe .info.

I don't think I would keep ThomYorke.us. I'm not sure about the relevance of .us. Isn't Radiohead an English band BTW ?

And yes, Radiohead is a British band, but they are popular throughout the world. The OVT for Radiohead is 200k

Dropped a bunch of famous person names recently, they came as part of a bulk buy last year and I never planned to renew them.
