Ok. I was have a private conversation on this forum with someone about this and they suggested I post my questions here. I currently own the following names that are parked at NameDrive.
caribbeansearch.com
centralamericasearch.com
dialandeat.com
dominicanasearch.com
dominicanrepublicsearch.com
internetsalesacademy.com
regularguysgetlaid.com
searchcentralamerica.com
yourlasvegasmortgage.com
themiamidriver.com
mchoney.com
profitebooks.com

I was told as far as resale value these names are worth very little but could have some value to a end user. Now I know some of these names are not that great but the ones like mchoney.com i bought because of all of the google links to it already. Caribbeansearch.com I thought was my very best name and had the most value for a Caribbean information portal. I even got a offer of over $1000 for it over a year ago but did not take it because at the time was going to develope the site myself.
What advice can you guys give me so I can readjust my thought proccess in the future purchases I make as far as getting a good name for resale value and not just end user value? With the names that do not have good resale value is my best option developing them into a simple site that will generate some traffic? Any thoughts or ideas on this would be great.

Thanks
CC

Dial and Eat might be worth some value, given the success of www.just-eat.com etc and the current demand for gastro sites.

I would say dial and eat $50-$100 not developed. developed it would be a good business model. I've got a gastro site with little content for sale on ebay and it is $100 at the moment www.foodo.co.uk so who knows. I'm just getting into the domain game, but the gastro sites seem to be doing okay at the moment.

As for the other domains, i'm no expert in that field but some are a little long winded in names for me to remember.

All the best

Just to add a little to my post. I study all the domain sales and try and figure out trends in what domains are selling for. I have seen the following

UKSearch.com $2,695 2006-01-17 Sedo
tucsonsearch.com $400 2006-12-07 Afternic
searchsail.com $1,505 2006-12-24 TDNAM
pupsearch.com $2,088 2006-12-04 BuyDomains
caribbeanbeach.com $2,450 2006-12-20 BuyDomains
NewCaribbean.com $1,000 2006-08-28 Afternic

What makes these names more valuable then my search related names?

Thanks for all the input and I love this forum so far so much info.

Interesting that bosstone and xerouk both sign "CC".

Those names may have been purchased by end-users who generally pay higher prices than domainers.

Good point and you are most likely right. I guess I need to just realize that it takes alittle more luck when going that route then it does to go the reseller route.
