The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I personally have found it really hard to sell domains in the MMO (make money online) sector.

But as far as you name goes, it's not bad, but BLOGforMONEY.com is much better, of course.

I would say you could get high $XXX to $1K for this if you can somehow get it in the eyes of someone who can use it to develop it.

I want to clarify why I think it is hard to sell to the MMO market. This is just my opinion from my observation.

MMO sellers are a lot like pornography sellers. They will use any domain they can get their hands on for $8 o rless. In the case of MMO, they will use super-long domains just because they can get it cheap. So let's say someone has a video course about blogging for money. They search for that EMD and see it (bloggingformoney.com) is taken and available for $1K. So they just say, OK, I'll just use bloggingformoneynow.com or bloggingformoneyvideos.com and be happy with that.

I've seen these silly domains used by even the most "respected" internet marketers. Just goes to show you how ill-educated in marketing (as it pertains to domains) many of them are.

I greatly appreciate the perspective. That makes a lot of sense. I have been online for many years and have acquired many domains over time. I am trying to dig through which ones have value and which ones aren't worth the trouble. I certainly don't consider myself a "domainer"...lol.

BTW: the blogging for money niche for MMO products isn't what it used to be. Pre-2011 it was really popular because you could put up small blogs and minisites with "borrowed" articles from article directories and get ranked in Google and make money off adsense and affiliate link pretty easily.

But today it's hard to rank a minisite or a blog that doesn't have a lot of good back-linking & citations to support it. People who by MMO products don't want to work hard. SEO is a lot of work - so the supply & demand of MMO products for blogging are low.

People say, just focus on writing good content in a niche you love, and the money will follow. but that usually not true. You have to actively engage in SEO or spend XXX/month to have it done for you if you want traffic now instead of 5 years from now lol
