I have been investigating the theory of an emerging #StickerTradingMarketplace which I am very interested to see if it will take off. In Australia, a lot of our shops have been betting against children by making it very difficult for children with low budgets to buy anything. This is where I see the potential of children to trade stickers with their tight budgets with each other. What I have noticed about children is that they love tiny forms of art and tiny art through stickers is a great way children can develop art and trade between friends. This opens the door for young children with low amounts of money to express themselves. As a hobby I am developing games that work with stickers so that children have the freedom and creativity to make the games with their choice of pictures.
When you look at organisations like McDonalds who have spent enormous amounts of money on playgrounds, you can see how investing in to improving the liberties of children helps attract longevity in sales. I am interested to know if other people think that sticker trading has potential.
