Hey guys

Just wondering ona disscussion what do u think about young children searching the net these days??

It has been prooven that most children who do get on net go on chat search the webpages an up looking or seeing some type of porn?
Or sees a barbie doll or somethink there interested in and convincing them to take there parents credit cards to buy this i saw this on news the other night?
What do you all think bout children searching the net and stuff

Yeah there are some negatives like you mentioned along with becoming more antisocial, become less active, etc. but there are also some great things about children and the internet. They're learning at a young age how to navigate the internet and how to complete many tasks that have become required of business professionals. They also have the opportunity to visit many great sites and they are able to learn about stuff that interests them, be it animals, cars, etc.

I guess there's no yes/no answer unfortunantly.

I think the internet is necessary for children to explore. It's a entirely different world on here. Children will need the internet for their future. To communicate to different countries and so on. They will need to learn the basics atleast on how to use it and how to get things done on here. In the end, the internet is beneficial for children. They can learn a lot of great things on here that they won't learn in school. It's up to the parents to put filters on browser. If your kid is scared to ask you for something and that they need to steal your credit card, its not the internets fault or problem. They parents are the ones with the problem.

When i have kids, and god help their poor little souls when i do , Ill be showing them the internet at an early age, and helping them to learn how to navigate it safely for sure
