"This Domain Is For Sale" in Whois?

Just wondering whether it is actually fine to have "This Domain Is For Sale" or similar in the whois. I see this quite a fair bit..

I've had it on some of my domains and never had any problems, that's not to say that what I'm doing is right!.

If you own a domain that is nowhere near a trademark issue, then it should be fine.

But if your domain lies on the "gray area" of some disputable trademark, putting "This Domain Is For Sale" on your whois can be interpreted as cybersquatting or using the domain in "bad faith". And you "could" lose your domain that way.
