I active on that thread. Many of those people are the "what was" crowd not the what will be. It will be fun to prove many of those people wrong when they get out of there "cave":)

I have seen you post a lot there Jim, and Michael told me that he has regged some more .tv. He sent me a list but did not want it published the way Frank's list was published. So he is not negative on the extension, but trying to understand all the crazy deals. Which I agree 100% its crazy.

All the stuff about him using proxy sounds like nonsense, he never uses proxy whois. I suspect something has happened. Even so the investment was very minimal so it doesn't matter much. If you are investing partly because Frank Schilling put a few thousand in that is a very poor reason to buy.

What is great is Michael is talking a lot about .tv and to have over 100+ responses on that thread is great.

Thanks, Jim

Jim I think that what happened and a few others emailed me saying the same. Was that Frank woke up and saw all the better names getting regged for a better price than what he paid and he was like, no thank you.

Now Michael wants to know how can he give them back. His post he told me is really about ENOM and their deals with certain people getting special privelege over other enom customers who regged .tv at the time.

As I posted earlier, the night before the Rushes started, many domainers were buying Premiums (and not at discounted prices). Compared to what others picked up THAT NIGHT and considering the prices Frank paid, he ended up with terrible names... some even worse than what has been posted.

There's no doubt he realized that his money was best spent during the Rushes and on the Aftermarket, and at SEDO. Just for fun, I'm combing whois results now to see who picked up what overall, and may post some of my findings on my site.

As discussed several times, the issue is not if Frank still owns "those" names listed (IMO, they aren't his), the issue is why were they not dropped during the 5 day window, and if he decided to drop them after the 5 day window (apparently), did he leave the registrar (ENOM) stuck with the domains. Not that it really matters overall, but the names are now under ENOM's care... and if they did get stuck with them... I feel sorry for what domains he stuck them with. Like I said, I cull whois data constantly and I believe I have the full list of what he picked up that night... and appears he gave them ALL back, expensive crap like Kidz, Bunny, Tanya, Franks etc... based on historical pricing data, those names alone may have cost close to $5K total (and there's even more overpriced choices). OUCH. Whether or not the full story comes out makes no difference to me.

Perhaps Frank had a reason for regging what he did. To each his own.
