My first domain in purchased to flip

what are yalls thoughts? any good reading to read up on about domain flipping?

I'm pretty new to domaining for the purpose of resale too, but I have a few thoughts on this.

1. Domains using more than two words seldom have good resale value.
2. Domains starting with the word "the" seldom have good resale value.
3. Domains where one word ends with a vowel and the next word starts with a vowel seldom have good resale value. (ie complianceone)
4. Domains with large character counts (say 12+) seldom have good resale value.
5. The intended use of the domain isn't immediately identifiable to an end user or, in turn, their visitors.

I'm a bit puzzled as to your thought process in making this your first attempt at flipping, but I can say with certainty that I would never expect to see this domain turned for profit. In fact, I'd suggest not renewing it and try again. There are a lot of great domains in the pre-release auctions every day that are cheap and would be much better suited for resale purposes.
