I don't have a fatalistic view on technology. As for happiness, that is totally subjective

You know decades ago it wasn't as good for some people...you know black people, gay people, other minorities. There is lots of nostalgia. The past was not as great as people remember it (at least for everyone).

I'm probably one of the rare few in the thread that doesn't really pay attention to politics, and the drama it surrounds itself with ...not my thing

As the years go by, regardless of party, I ask myself truly: What has changed about my lifestyle? And how I live, now that "xyz" is in charge. The conclusion I find myself with is ...nothing, nothing at all (maybe that's my problem, it depends on who you are)

In the UK, my last vote was for the Green Party ...only because it felt "winning" (they never stand a chance, and get super low votes ...but I don't mind)

I won’t vouch for Queers … but yes.. 50 years ago … times were different racially .. as the years passed .. it wasn’t BLM or any other organization that made race relations better .. it was that the generations before us had died off .. the white race has compassion for the black race .. the white race acted on that compassion as the years went forwarded and society white and black race relations became much better year after year .. race relations between white and black made incredible ground since 50 years ago .. there is a chance that could be 100% erased up and coming ..

We didn’t have kids enter schools and do mass shootings .. no mass shootings hardly at all .. we had the exact same access to firearms then as we do now… there was not a fraction of the crime back then .. is there is now .. the same crimes could have been committed …Queer was in the closet .. because that is were it belonged .. Transexual only existed in the underground and closet because society fully understood a male is a male .. a female is a female .. decided by our maker with giving either a penis or vagina .. testosterone or estrogen as it was established in the beginning of time … although a Dog may want to be Cat and visa versa .. we are born what we are and have decision making in the process ..we never change our birth gender .. surgery doesn’t change the fact .. it doesn’t change the truth .. the truth is very very important to our existence
