You often say stuff like that ....".I explained already..."

The problem is you haven't explained anything, because you don't understand what the question is. You are stuck on one tree and unaware there is a whole forest.

It's not important whether it's a red state, blue state or pink state. The world of ideas is much larger than that, JB. Expand your horizons.

You keep saying what a bad person he is. And he probably is. But the Bill of Rights is there to ensure the rights of everyone - even bad people. Hate crimes are, by definition, thought crimes. If you can't grasp that, there is no way you can understand what is happening here.

Red, blue talk is for silly people who are allowing themselves to be manipulated. Pay attention to the meta-narrative, not to the shiny objects they dangle before you. Open your eyes.

Every state, even Iowa has liberal cities, liberal judges and politically connected LGBTQ activist.

Just another Trump hater opinion!

Hi

I am not a Trump hater
but his character is that of a bully... reminiscent of a spoiled child who always got his way

and I just hate, the hate he spews

if he wanted to, he could be president, without all of the negativity.

but if it's okay with you that he demonizes the deceased, who can't rebuff his comments... then what does that say about those who support it or ignore it

imoโ€ฆ.

Hi

disclaimer: In beginning, I preferred Trump over Hillary, but...../

Trump, could be a president for all americans, but he chooses not to
he is only beholding to his base, yet he took oath to be president of usa

and his comments to his base, basically stir up hatred, insensitivity and divisiveness.
which is far cry from his state of the union address

and, why would he attack the congresswoman and talk about her deceased husband who served some 30 years in congress, during a campaign rally, so close to Christmas?

he has attacked judges who don't give him favor
he attacks his own cabinet members, when they think differently than he does
he attacked the fbi
he attacks the news media
he interferes in the Navy's punitive decisions
he has attempted to discredit branches of government

it has come to the point, where only he is the speaker of truth and everyone else lies.

the republican party has lost it's voice and have become the silent majority
all of them fear the consequences of an angry Trump and don't want to be castrated publicly.

if he is re-elected, I expect him to proclaim himself America's first dictator.

that's when the :poop: will really hit the fan.

you think bullet sales are peaking now, just wait....

This is the dumbest trop I've heard liberals make, right next to Trump is a Russian agent. Trump will leave office just like every other President.

As for bullet sales, 620,000 people died in the civil war. You really think the National Guard is going to shoot at their neighbors?

Barack Obama armed the FDA! They sent a swat team to a Mennonite farm because he refused to stop selling non-pasteurized milk!

Everything liberals don't like will cause dramatic, devastating consequences based on zero evidence.

Scroll back a few post, I made a list of the horrible things the Government did when Barack Obama was President.

I was young. Maybe a better example would be after Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. Corrupt police and organized gangs went door to door. Police shot at people for not following orders.

The National Guard restored order. Militias from other states helped rescue people.

You're whole premise hinges on president Trump being a genius mastermind that will somehow subvert the Constitution, overthrow the other two branches of Government with help from people who cherish freedom and DESPISE tyranny.

Look to your own political party for petty tyrants who want to control what people think and do.

Obama was sophisticated but he wasn't shy about attacking groups of people. Trump is a bully.

Agree it would be a relief if he was more diplomatic.

My goodness.. have you forgotten what liberals said about Ronald Reagan when he died? Justice Scalia? The same liberal journalist and most politicians appalled by Trump act just as bad.

You voted for Hillary despite her obvious corruption, gross negligence, influence peddling and poor health. What does that say about you??

Bullsh!t

Nothing fake about it. You are still in denial about Russia.

You call Republicans traitors and refuse to consider actual evidence to the contrary.

The IG investigation of the FBI found agents spied on Trump's campaign by obtaining FISA warrants using information paid for by Hillary Clinton's campaign, then falsified evidence and falsely accused people of federal crimes so they could keep spying but found NOTHING.

Criminal investigation of the FBI and CIA continues.

BREAKING: John Durham asking for John Brennanโ€™s emails, call logs from CIA!

Everything he said was 100% accurate and you do not have to be a Trump hater to see that.
You guys refuse to see and acknowledge all of these bad things Trump does right out in public.

Biggie and you suggest people are loyal to Trump, not the United States. That is wrong. You use words like traitor, dictator, cult member to describe people who have a political difference.

Maybe you should re-examine your own positions and stop with the hyperbole. You're actually less reasonable than Donald Trump.

I will say the old argument, If Obama did any of those things you guys would want his head on a stick.

You mean like using the IRS to harass political opponents? Spy on congress and put journalist in jail?

You guys along with the GOP completely Ignore all the bad things Trump does. You bow down to everything he says and does.

You're delusional. You say this stuff with out any examples or proof. TRUMP IS A RUSSIAN DICTATOR!!! TRUMP IS GOING TO DESTROY AMERICA!!

You sound insane.

We call you guys cultist because you guys act like cultist, never questioning anything Trump does.

Still waiting for you to site an example of something Trump has done that supports your melodramatic accusations.

At worst he asked a foreign leader to investigate influence peddling and corruption by a former VP for political reasons.

Trump is not your God, he is just a Sick and Twisted Narcissistic Lying Blowhard who bullied and bullsh!ted his way into the Oval Office.

You're filled with hate and it's blinding you.

And you guys bought into it, hook line and sinker.

Give me REAL examples of Trump's traitorous behavior and how it has affected domestic and foreign policy.

Trump Should Be Removed from Office

Itโ€™s time to say what we said 20 years ago when a presidentโ€™s character was revealed for what it was.
Mark GalliDecember 19, 2019

In our founding documents, Billy Graham explains that Christianity Today will help evangelical Christians interpret the news in a manner that reflects their faith. The impeachment of Donald Trump is a significant event in the story of our republic. It requires comment.

The typical CT approach is to stay above the fray and allow Christians with different political convictions to make their arguments in the public square, to encourage all to pursue justice according to their convictions and treat their political opposition as charitably as possible. We want CT to be a place that welcomes Christians from across the political spectrum, and reminds everyone that politics is not the end and purpose of our being. We take pride in the fact, for instance, that politics does not dominate our homepage.

That said, we do feel it necessary from time to time to make our own opinions on political matters clearโ€”always, as Graham encouraged us, doing so with both conviction and love. We love and pray for our president, as we love and pray for leaders (as well as ordinary citizens) on both sides of the political aisle.

Letโ€™s grant this to the president: The Democrats have had it out for him from day one, and therefore nearly everything they do is under a cloud of partisan suspicion. This has led many to suspect not only motives but facts in these recent impeachment hearings. And, no, Mr. Trump did not have a serious opportunity to offer his side of the story in the House hearings on impeachment.

But the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the presidentโ€™s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.

The reason many are not shocked about this is that this president has dumbed down the idea of morality in his administration. He has hired and fired a number of people who are now convicted criminals. He himself has admitted to immoral actions in business and his relationship with women, about which he remains proud. His Twitter feed aloneโ€”with its habitual string of mischaracterizations, lies, and slandersโ€”is a near perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused.

Trumpโ€™s evangelical supporters have pointed to his Supreme Court nominees, his defense of religious liberty, and his stewardship of the economy, among other things, as achievements that justify their support of the president. We believe the impeachment hearings have made it absolutely clear, in a way the Mueller investigation did not, that President Trump has abused his authority for personal gain and betrayed his constitutional oath. The impeachment hearings have illuminated the presidentโ€™s moral deficiencies for all to see. This damages the institution of the presidency, damages the reputation of our country, and damages both the spirit and the future of our people. None of the presidentโ€™s positives can balance the moral and political danger we face under a leader of such grossly immoral character.

This concern for the character of our national leader is not new in CT. In 1998, we wrote this:

The President's failure to tell the truthโ€”even when corneredโ€”rips at the fabric of the nation. This is not a private affair. For above all, social intercourse is built on a presumption of trust: trust that the milk your grocer sells you is wholesome and pure; trust that the money you put in your bank can be taken out of the bank; trust that your babysitter, firefighters, clergy, and ambulance drivers will all do their best. And while politicians are notorious for breaking campaign promises, while in office they have a fundamental obligation to uphold our trust in them and to live by the law.

And this:

Unsavory dealings and immoral acts by the President and those close to him have rendered this administration morally unable to lead.

Unfortunately, the words that we applied to Mr. Clinton 20 years ago apply almost perfectly to our current president. Whether Mr. Trump should be removed from office by the Senate or by popular vote next electionโ€”that is a matter of prudential judgment. That he should be removed, we believe, is not a matter of partisan loyalties but loyalty to the Creator of the Ten Commandments.

To the many evangelicals who continue to support Mr. Trump in spite of his blackened moral record, we might say this: Remember who you are and whom you serve. Consider how your justification of Mr. Trump influences your witness to your Lord and Savior. Consider what an unbelieving world will say if you continue to brush off Mr. Trumpโ€™s immoral words and behavior in the cause of political expediency. If we donโ€™t reverse course now, will anyone take anything we say about justice and righteousness with any seriousness for decades to come? Can we say with a straight face that abortion is a great evil that cannot be tolerated and, with the same straight face, say that the bent and broken character of our nationโ€™s leader doesnโ€™t really matter in the end?

We have reserved judgment on Mr. Trump for years now. Some have criticized us for our reserve. But when it comes to condemning the behavior of another, patient charity must come first. So we have done our best to give evangelical Trump supporters their due, to try to understand their point of view, to see the prudential nature of so many political decisions they have made regarding Mr. Trump. To use an old clichรฉ, itโ€™s time to call a spade a spade, to say that no matter how many hands we win in this political poker game, we are playing with a stacked deck of gross immorality and ethical incompetence. And just when we think itโ€™s time to push all our chips to the center of the table, thatโ€™s when the whole game will come crashing down. It will crash down on the reputation of evangelical religion and on the worldโ€™s understanding of the gospel. And it will come crashing down on a nation of men and women whose welfare is also our concern.

My misunderstanding.

Hi

that was 14 years ago, and the divide between americans has widen since.

imo...

"armed Gretna policemen who fired shotguns over their heads, told them Gretna was closed and turned them back." - Those weren't just white police were they? Poor leadership and chaos.

George W Bush was probably the worst President in modern history. People thought Barrack Obama was going to turn everything around but he was just another Chicago politician and accomplished almost nothing. America recovered despite his poor leadership.

Bill Clinton despite his flaws, was a good leader and good President. He somehow managed work with a congress that despised him.

The dived between Americans is fomented by a corrupt media and power hungry politicians. I'm sure not going to attack my neighbors over something a politician says.

The biased media stokes hatred between races, political parties, people who have opposing ideas. When Barack Obama was president, the media narrative was the tea party was racist and a terrorist threat.

The tea party are patriots who want a smaller Gov with lower taxes. They had rallies and picked up trash before they left.

Kanye West has changed his opinion.

Name three things Trump has done to harm the Republic and I'll name three things Obama did that was worse. Conservatives and libertarians don't want a revolution. They want the Government to leave them alone.

Groups like Antifa are a small minority that thrive on chaos and hatred. The media foolishly compares them to WWII vetrans who fought to free Europe and Africa from German fascism.

The far-left wants to limit speech, limit freedom, expand the Government. These people are a minority that live in liberal cities with little vocal opposition and championed by a corrupt media. They hate America.

Think about that. Under Barack Obama, federal agents of the Food and Drug Administration dressed like paramilitary soldiers raided dairy farms because people wanted to buy unpasteurized milk.

NY Times, WaPo, alphabet networks didn't wring their hands about Obama becoming a dictator.
But somehow the media has convinced people, Trump rolling back bureaucratic laws, lowering taxes, securing the borders is a threat to our Republic.
