I'm not sure, really didn't know much about her before these debates. I like that she's moderate, tough, haven't seen her back down from anybody, seems to be very knowledgeable on the issues. I think she would work well with Biden. Her numbers should go up after this one.

I wonder from those on the right, from the 7 on stage, even tho you might disagree on their politics, which one, if you had to have one, would it be, or pick 2 of them. From the Republicans last election, for me it was Kasich. Seemed to be decent. Didn't like Trump at all, Cruz was always sleazy to me and both Cruz and Rubio folded to Trump, didn't like that.
I'll pick 3, the 3 I think can beat Trump.

Klobuchar, Biden and Warren.

I think these 3 can go toe to toe with Trump.
I had Klobuchar at #1 coming out of the last debate and I think I would put her at #1 again.

My take who was best to worst last night.

  1. Amy Klobuchar - Very strong, Brought a baseball bat to a fist fight.
  2. Pete Buttigieg - Very strong, making a great argument for the next VP.
  3. Elizabeth Warren - Very strong took a lot of punches and still held her own.
  4. Bernie Sanders - Impressive how strong right after a heart attack.
  5. Andrew Yang - Starting to really catch fire
  6. Joseph Biden - Starting to get stuck in the mud.
  7. Cory Booker - Should drop out now.
  8. Kamala Harris - Should drop out now.
  9. Julián Castro - Should drop out now.
  10. Tulsi Gabbard - Should drop out now.
  11. Tom Steyer - Should drop out now.
  12. Beto O'Rourke - Should drop out now.

My take who was best to worst tonight,
  1. Amy Klobuchar
  2. Elizabeth Warren
  3. Bernie Sanders
  4. Joseph Biden
  5. Pete Buttigieg
  6. Andrew Yang
  7. Tom Steyer

The impeachment vote was a declaration of war against Trump and 63,000,000 voters

Last time I checked 65,844,610 votes is more.

My prediction for the 2020 Presidential election.

Trump: 59,000,000 Votes

You're obviously counting 15,000,000 illegals. We all know how the crooked, fraudulent, bad looser DemocRats work...

I have news for you, how many times has Gilsan posted something and it's not the full story? Is there actually going to be a time where you can check things out on your own and stop being so damn gullible all the time?

"Court records list him as a habitual offender, allowing him to be sentenced to a longer prison term."

Habitual defender, not just because of that 1 incident. When you set things on fire, other things can catch fire, people can die.

I'm really liking her, She's tough, she knows the issues. Biden better pick her. Good debate, better when we have less people.

He'll pick Kamala for demographics.

That first question is for you, JB. You are terribly gullible in that regard. I actually read beyond the headlines. Ironic you should make this comment, as you, Lennco and Enlytend pretty much parrot what CNN says.

Again, as I said, 15 years for a thought crime, which sets precedent. That he is a habitual criminal is beside the point. The 15 years was not playing with fire. Learn to think these things through, JB.

She would make AG Holder look like a choir boy. Imagine her in charge of justice.... China West.

That said, I would say it's even odds she ends up in prison or disbarred before she ever makes attorney general.

Even after I explain it to you, you still struggle. It is not beside the point, it's why he got the time he did. He didn't get 15 years solely for burning that flag.

"He faced a maximum of five years in prison for the hate crime and arson charge and a maximum of a year and month for the other two charges, according to Iowa sentencing guidelines. Court records list him as a habitual offender, allowing him to be sentenced to a longer prison term."

Convicted by a jury in Iowa, big time red state. It's their guidelines, he must have had quite a past record. Maybe, don't be a habitual offender, threaten to burn down places, make threats etc. If it was merely setting a flag on fire and nothing else, I would not have agreed with that sentence. But there was obviously more to it. You would have had to be on the jury and know all his past offenses.

You often say stuff like that ....".I explained already..."

The problem is you haven't explained anything, because you don't understand what the question is. You are stuck on one tree and unaware there is a whole forest.

It's not important whether it's a red state, blue state or pink state. The world of ideas is much larger than that, JB. Expand your horizons.

You keep saying what a bad person he is. And he probably is. But the Bill of Rights is there to ensure the rights of everyone - even bad people. Hate crimes are, by definition, thought crimes. If you can't grasp that, there is no way you can understand what is happening here.

Red, blue talk is for silly people who are allowing themselves to be manipulated. Pay attention to the meta-narrative, not to the shiny objects they dangle before you. Open your eyes.

Try to be less overly dramatic. He was convicted by a jury and it wasn’t solely for burning that flag. Feel free to post his prior convictions.

because that is what this is all this about

Stop being ridiculous.

The president of the United States held up aid to Ukraine, a country at war with Russia. pending an unwarranted “investigation” into an American citizen who is his political rival.

The aid had been fully approved months ago and was only released when he found out his little game had been discovered.

If you suspect an American citizen of wrongdoing, that’s a matter for US law enforcement. We have laws about that and our federal law enforcement is fully capable of enforcing them.

You certainly don’t ask a foreign country you think has corruption issues to”investigate” a US citizen. Or send your personal lawyer - who has no security clearance or formal connection to the US government - to negotiate with them.

Being from POTUS’ “home turf” and having friends and associates who dealt with him, I knew what he was long before the election. A lot of hot air and self promotion, nothing behind it, probable mob connections, shady business practices. A penchant for not honoring business contracts or paying what he owed. If a small business tried to get him to pay up, he’d send in a team of lawyers and tie up the proceedings to the point where they would give up because they couldn’t afford the never ending litigation. Local contractors who knew better wouldn’t do business with him. He was a joke - a JOKE - in the biz.

He was building with pre mix concrete back in the 80s. At that time that entire market was controlled by the mafia, I believe the Genovese family in particular. Reputable builders avoided getting involved with that by using other materials.

Everybody knew he was laundering money for someone through his casinos. The Taj got the biggest fine in history for anti money laundering violations before it went under.

That said, people can change.

I truly hoped, when he was elected, that the enormity of the responsibility that he had assumed would change him - that he would rise to the occasion and become a better person. You know - “Be Best.”

Didn’t happen. Grifters gotta grift. Mobsters gotta mob. Leopards don’t change their spots.

But he sure has you conned.

Hi

disclaimer: In beginning, I preferred Trump over Hillary, but...../

Trump, could be a president for all americans, but he chooses not to
he is only beholding to his base, yet he took oath to be president of usa

and his comments to his base, basically stir up hatred, insensitivity and divisiveness.
which is far cry from his state of the union address

and, why would he attack the congresswoman and talk about her deceased husband who served some 30 years in congress, during a campaign rally, so close to Christmas?

he has attacked judges who don't give him favor
he attacks his own cabinet members, when they think differently than he does
he attacked the fbi
he attacks the news media
he interferes in the Navy's punitive decisions
he has attempted to discredit branches of government

it has come to the point, where only he is the speaker of truth and everyone else lies.

the republican party has lost it's voice and have become the silent majority
all of them fear the consequences of an angry Trump and don't want to be castrated publicly.

if he is re-elected, I expect him to proclaim himself America's first dictator.

that's when the :poop: will really hit the fan.

you think bullet sales are peaking now, just wait....

:)

imo...

You're correct. He stole a flag and burned it a parking lot; the DA charged him with arson and a hate crime. If it had been an American flag, they would have let him walk with a fine.

I think this will get overturned on appeal
